Solving Real Estate Math Problems

Let’s say you’re touring a new home with a buyer, and she asks you for the square footage of the living room. You know the length and width. What do you do? Your buyer also has $60,000 to put down and wants to know how much house she can afford with an 80/20 loan to value. Can you answer her?

Can you help an investor determine income potential if you know the going rate and value? Can you read an amortization table? In this course, you'll practice solving just these kinds of problems.

Course objectives include:

  • Demonstrate basic computational skills using fractions, decimals, percentages, and interest rates.
  • Apply basic computational skills to real estate tasks such as: calculation of area, prorations, loan amortization, and calculation of monthly payments.

Build Your 30/60/90 Day Plan

Ready to make things happen? In this course, you'll plan for your success in your real estate career in the next 30, 60, or 90 days. You'll discover how an effective business plan can shape your career trajectory and be inspired by examples of the essential elements of a business plan. With step-by-step guidance, you'll set some achievable goals and craft your own plan based on your market research and unique selling proposition. By the end, you'll have a clear sense of direction with your personalized business plan.

Build Your Core Lead Network

Real estate professionals recognize that leads and new prospects are vital to their business, yet the pursuit of finding them can be the most daunting aspect of the industry. In this course, you will acquire the ability to differentiate between a promising lead and an unpromising one and understand how a prospect progresses through the stages of a sale to become a paying client. You will learn effective strategies, relevant techniques, and receive expert guidance in formulating a personalized plan to generate your own leads. Upon completing this course, you will feel confident and well-equipped to attract, nurture, and convert leads to satisfied clients.

Build Your Negotiation Skills

In the high-stakes realm of real estate, where every deal can make or break your career, a single misstep in negotiation could result in dissatisfied and disheartened clients. Let's face it, there's no room for error! This comprehensive course covers everything from understanding the various stages of negotiation to mastering the art of persuasive communication. But theory alone can only take you so far. That's why this course incorporates practical case studies and scenarios to put your newfound skills to the ultimate test.
